Meet our founder

TERESA I. NNANG AVOMO

Founder

Founder and Professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, recognized for her strategic leadership in Equatorial Guinea and her pan-African approach to attracting investment.

She was the first woman to hold the position of Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s national oil company, GEPetrol, where she led major institutional transformations, including the company’s transition into the national operator of the Zafiro Field, marking a milestone in the country’s energy history.

She leads BLACKSTONE EG & Partners, the first investment lobbying firm in Equatorial Guinea, with the mission of connecting international capital with transformative business opportunities in Central Africa.

She is a Mining Engineer, holds a degree in Energy Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, and a Master’s in Hydrocarbon Exploration and Production from Heriot-Watt University (Edinburgh).
